Around is a social network for better shopping experience and a vast business database offers various novel information technology capabilities to users, so that they can have an unique shopping experience through their friends viewpoints.
Around and the businesses
•Businesses can easily note their services, goods and commodities data like photos, videos, contact information, position on the map, discounts and etc. by joining the Around app.
•After registration, businesses will be able to use the app’s marketing and advertising possibilities such as proximity marketing, regional advertising, accessing to the services and commodities suppliers, denoting events and discounts and informing users.
Proximity marketing
•Using Around technology, businesses can send custom ads to the users around the business. For example, a ladies bags and shoes store can prepare advertising banners or videos for its season auction and upload them on a web platform and target the ads for the ladies about 21 - 31 years old. Then, the system will automatically send the ads to the 21 – 31 years old women within 300 meters radius of the store. In this process, ads display on Near Me section.
Indoor mapping
•Customers often spend a lot of time to find their desired store path. Based on researches, 50% of the people are in trouble to find the path when going to the hospital. Passengers are also have problems to find their path in airports or terminals and sometimes miss their flights and travels because of the loss of time. On the other hand, complexity of paper maps in events and exhibitions makes routing the booth difficult. Furthermore, in stadiums and tourism places it takes a long time to find the path.
•Using sensors and predesigned indoor maps, Around app guides users in routing their locations so that they can lead to their own goals in the shortest time. Users can simply lead to their desired business through predesigned map after they refer to the location page and click on its indoor map. This possibility is most applicable in exhibitions, airports, hotels and tourism places.
Nearby businesses
•Around app users can look for the nearby businesses through general businesses database and find their nearest desired business on the map by selecting the topic in My Near Businesses section.
User personal page
•After registration in Around app, a personal page will assigned to the user so that he/she can access to many possibilities and information such as signing his/her business, viewing messages and businesses photos, finding friends, list of favorite businesses and the credit bag facilities.
Credit bag
•One of the applied part of the Around app is credit bag. Users can save a significant credit through activity in the app or observing the ads. They are also able to spend their credits through the discounts and purchasing from the businesses signed in Around app. Businesses can apply for the deposit from credit management section after they receive credit from users.
